FLOWERS
I started working with flowers when I was about 10 or 11 years old when I would frequent the floral department at our local grocery store and ask endless questions whenever the florist was there. I learned as much as I could by reading books, watching videos and tutorials and simply studying other people's work and just "playing" with discounted or discarded blooms to create things that people seemed to like.
Over the past few years I've been heavily involved with the Slow Flowers movement attempting to connect with local growers and relying mostly on American Grown cut flowers in producing work for:
